Hey nerds, in this post we're going to have a glance on the services and products that Google stopped publishing in 2019. So, literally, there are no more these products from Google. Some of them were quite old and few of them were quite newbies.

It is considered one of the Big Four technology companies, alongside Apple, Amazon, and Facebook.

1.Youtube Gaming

Google abandoned its YouTube category of gaming service this year which includes live streaming and gaming videos.

This feature was 4 years old.

2.Youtube Messaging

 

Google discontinued the in-app feature of YouTube which is messaging. This is one of the latest services to be killed by the company. This allows users to share videos and messages directly.  

This feature was 2 years old.

3.Google+   

 

Google shut down its social media platform, Google+ this year.

This was 8 years old and was one of the oldest services of Google.

4.Google URL Shortener

Google URL shortener makes the URL length reduced.

It was 9 years old and the oldest service from Google. 

5. Data Saver Extension For Chrome

 

Data Saver Extension for Google Chrome reduces the consumption of data by the Chrome browser.

It was started around 4 years ago.

6. Google Trips

 

Google Trips is an app-based service from the Company which lets users plan their trips along with travel, food and stay bookings. 

It was started 3 years old.

7. Chromecast audio

 

Chromecast audio is a device that lets users stream music from any device to a speaker.   

This product was 3 years old and stopped its production this year.

8. Inbox by Gmail

 

Inbox by Gmail was mainly discontinued by Google this year because most features were already available in the Gmail app. 

This app was 4 years old.

9. Google Allo

 

Google Allo was the company's Internet-based messaging app with features like encryption and virtual assistant. This was available for Android, iOS, 

and web. It got renamed into Google Chat.

This was started more than 2 years old.

10. Areo

 

Google discontinued the app called Areo this year, which enables users to order food from local restaurants and book appointments with other services.
